Bridgeton Polling Place Changed for General Election, Nov. 8th
Due to structural issues at the Upper Black Eddy firehouse caused by an accident earlier in the year, the polling location for the Tuesday, November 8th general election has been changed to the Bridgeton Township Municipal Building. The polling location change has received preliminary approval from the Bucks County Board of Elections.
Proposed Floodplain, Telecommunications Ordinances
Public hearings were opened at the Tuesday, Sept. 13th Supervisor’s Meeting for proposed ordinances relating to Telecommunications and Floodplain issues. The hearings were tabled to be continued at the October 11, 2016 Supervisor’s meeting after receiving input from the township and county Planning Commissions.

FEMA Floodplain Maps
A link has been added to the township website ( on the right-hand menu, FEMA Floodplain Maps) to FEMA’s updated and powerful National Flood Hazard Mapping tool, which uses GIS technology to provide a multitude of graphical map data about flooding on a nation-wide basis, with the ability to zoom in to our township, and choose overlays and several different graphical views of the floodplain.
Groundwater Committee Meeting for September at Bridgeton Township Building
The Wednesday, September 21 meeting of Bridgeton Nockamixon Tinicum Groundwater Management Committee well be held at the Bridgeton Township Municipal building at 7:30. The public is invited.

New Floodplain Development Permit Application Posted
The new Floodplain Development Permit Application has been added to the Applications & Forms section of the township website. This was necessitated by changes in the federal FEMA floodplain regulations.
