OLD BUSINESS

  1. Brown has previously suggested revising the Zoning Map after Comprehensive Plan.

Area designated as Shopping District is now used as Protected Land so Brown says we may no longer have a Shopping District in the zoning. Others say it is still zoned, only the Owner has restricted the use by adding a preservation restriction.

NEW BUSINESS

  1. Discussion regarding the need to plan for potential Data Center development. Burke indicated that many municipalities in the region are updating ordinances to define Data Centers and establish clear requirements and guardrails for Data Center development and operation. Buechler and Gerhardt agreed that establishing such requirements should be a priority for the Township. BTPC will consult with the BOS to determine whether this objective is aligned with their priorities and what role BTPC will play in this process.
  • Keller reported on a call between BOS members and the Bucks County Planning Commission regarding the process of updating the zoning ordinance to align with the current Comprehensive Plan. The commission understands that the revisions and alignment of the zoning ordinance to some specific items listed in the Comprehensive Plan will be done by an outside consultant determined by the BOS.
