Bucks County has implemented a COVID-19 helpline for those residents without internet access who want to pre-register for the vaccine, or have general questions about the pandemic. That number is:

Bucks County Health Department is currently registering Bucks County citizens who meet the below criteria for COVID-19 vaccination scheduling (PHASE 1A, 1B, 1C).
Practice/business/individual must operate and/or live in Bucks County, PA.

Phase 1A

  • Long term care facilities
  • Emergency medical service personnel
  • Nurses & Nursing assistants
  • Physicians
  • Dentists & Dental hygienists
  • Chiropractors
  • Therapists
  • Phlebotomists
  • Pharmacists
  • Pharmacy Technicians
  • Health professions students and trainees
  • Direct support professionals
  • Clinical personnel in school settings or correctional facilities
  • Contractual HCP not directly employed by the health care facility
  • Persons ages 65 and older
  • Persons ages 16-64 with high-risk conditions:
  •      Cancer
  •      Chronic kidney disease
  •      COPD
  •      Down Syndrome
  •      Heart conditions, such as heart failure, coronary artery disease, or cardiomyopathies
  •      Immunocompromised state (weakened immune system) from solid organ transplant or from blood or bone marrow transplant, immune deficiencies, HIV, use of corticosteroids, or use of other immune weakening medicines
  •      Obesity (body mass index [BMI] of 30 kg/m2 or higher)
  •      Pregnancy
  •      Sickle cell disease
  •      Smoking
  •      Type 2 diabetes mellitus

Note that at this time only the Pfizer-BioNTech product is approved for those age 16 and 17.

Phase 1B

  • Law enforcement
  • Fire/rescue personnel
  • Emergency services personnel
  • Public transit staff
  • Grocery store staff
  • Educators/Education staff
  • Manufacturing staff
  • U.S. Postal Service staff
  • Clergy and other essential support for houses of worship
  • Corrections staff and other staff of non-1A congregate care settings
  • Individuals caring for children or adults in early childhood and adult day programs

Phase 1C

  • Finance staff, including bank tellers
  • Information technology
  • Energy
  • Food services
  • Housing construction
  • Communications
  • Legal services
  • Public health workers
  • Public safety
  • Utility
  • Water and wastewater staff
  • Federal/state/county/local government

Phase 2

  • Any individual over the age of 16 who agrees and does not have a contraindication for vaccine.
