The Bridgeton Township Supervisors passed the 2021 budget with no tax increase at their Dec. 9th meeting, via Zoom. The millage rate is unchanged from 2020.
A resolution was passed to advertise a draft ordinance allowing the installation of a deer fence into the current fencing section of the Township Zoning Ordinance. A public hearing will be held at the regular February 10th Supervisors Meeting
The Board approved the proposed contract from the Bucks County Planning Commission to provide planning services to the Bridgeton Township Planning Commission for the update of the Township Comprehensive Plan.
The Board announced it is working on a grant from the Lower Delaware Wild and Scenic River organization for an investigation into erosion along the river banks abutting River Road within the township. The Board thanked C.C. Hopf, the township representative to this organization, for her invaluable help in this project.
- The annual Reorganization meeting was held, as mandated by state law, on Jan. 4th. No changes were made. Gard Holby will remain as President of the Board, with Roger Keller as Vice-President.
- The Bridgeton Township Supervisors will hold their regular monthly meetings in 2021, beginning with
February’s meeting, on the 2nd Wednesday of the month, 7:00 p.m., via Zoom.
The Bridgeton Township Planning Commission’s meeting schedule in 2021 will be on the 4th Tuesday
of the month, with the exception of November and December, due to the Thanksgiving and Christmas
holidays, when there will be a combined meeting held on the 1st Tuesday in December (Dec. 7, 2021),
