Bridgeton Township is studying ways to make River Road through the village center safer. The radar signs showing speeds have been a big help, as most cars slow down when they see their speed is exceeding the speed limit. But alot of folks don’t slow down. Here is a screenshot of the logs from the speed signs.
We think, and studies show, that making everyone aware of the situation, and asking our community to help spread the word that speeding through Upper Black Eddy is dangerous for residents who live along the road AND for the drivers. If we all drive with the Golden Rule in mind, it makes our home along the river that much more inviting, safe and beautiful.
So please, help spread the word:
and we can all breathe easier.
