We are pleased to announce a new initiative aimed at improving wildlife safety: Squirrel Skywalks. These specially designed bridges are being constructed to provide safe passage for squirrels across busy roads. This project is part of our ongoing efforts to make Bridgeton’s roads safer by reducing wildlife-vehicle collisions. The goal is to have Squirrel Skywalks installed on every major road throughout the town by the end of 2026. We expect these new wildlife crossings to reduce the cost of our roadkill cleanup efforts by up to 7%.
