The next Bridgeton Twp. Planning Commission/BTPC meeting is today, Tuesday, July 25th at 7:30 pm .

Bridgeton Township Planning Commission Agenda for July 25, 2023    
1) Call to order at 7:30 p.m.

3) Review and approval of the June 27, 2023 draft minutes.  

4) The BridgetonTwp.Comprehensive Plan update; Roger Keller, Lead:

The proposed Bridgeton Township Comprehensive Plan (CP):

The BTPC announced the start of the CP 45-day review period on 6/27/23;

A link accessing the proposed updated Comprehensive Plan draft was posted on the Bridgeton Township website and a physical copy of the updated CP draft was made available at the township’s municipal building for public viewing; As noted above, follows is the link to the latest draft of the plan: 

Letters were sent out on 6/29/2023 to the surrounding municipalities and the school district, notifying these entities of the 45-day review period

Notice of the 7/25/2023 presentation of the CP to the public posted.

As we updated our current 1994 Comp. Plan some of our thoughts were: What are Bridgeton’s challenges since last Twp Comp. Plan of 1994? Should the Comp Plan Map/pg. 31 be changed?
How/in what way? -Ref. the CP Map…
What are Bridgeton Townships land use goals? -Ref. the CP Map…
What is our vision? 
“What do we want to be?” -Decide what we DON’T want in the plan. What maps should be included and available as digital, GIS and paper
