A Walking Tour of the Proposed Bridgeton Open Space Preserve.  April 7, 2018 11:00 am

Bridgeton Township, together with Tinicum Conservancy, invite you to join us in a walking tour of the proposed Bridgeton Open Space Preserve.

 Together they are seeking funding from Bucks County and the Pennsylvania Department of Natural Resources to acquire the largest remaining open spaces in Bridgeton Township.  The long abandoned quarry runs along a long stretch of River Road and extends up along the rugged Palisades and border of Bridgeton Hill Road. Mostly forested and extensive wetlands this property is a unique opportunity for open space in Bridgeton Township.

Tinicum Conservancy and Bridgeton Township welcome your ideas on how to best utilize this unique property.   So please join us for a walking tour and to share your views.

Where:  Meet across from 1821 River Road (the former 1821 Restaurant) just north of Trails End Lane.
